Hi, I'm Tim

In my work, I bring together my skills as a filmmaker and my knowledge on science communication. I'm driven by curiosity and a passion for clear, compelling communication. Whether I’m behind the camera or shaping a story in the edit, I’m always looking for ways to connect complex ideas to real people.

Filmmaking is how I explore and share the stories that matter—especially when they sit at the intersection of science, society, and technology. Over the past years, I’ve worked with universities, museums, and event organizers to produce documentaries, interviews, aftermovies, and commercial content. I enjoy every part of the process, from shaping a concept to shooting, editing, and delivering a final piece that resonates with its audience.

Science Communication is the common thread running through much of my work. I believe that research should be accessible, trustworthy, and engaging to make a significant real-world impact. Through my roles as a filmmaker, I’ve helped researchers and students tell their stories more clearly—whether on screen or on the page. I’m especially drawn to projects that involve collaboration across disciplines and make room for nuance and depth.

Artificial Intelligence has been at the centre of my academic path and the starting point for my interest in science communication. During my studies, I focused on the societal impact of AI and took a deep dive into topics like AI in healthcare, ethics, and public trust. In my Master’s thesis, I researched how communication strategies influence patients’ trust in medical AI. This background helps me navigate complex scientific material and translate it into stories that inform and inspire.
